HE HIATUS ME Anyway, I've got something less than 48 hours left in Swamp City before I fly back to the Rose City for Christmas and New Year's, a bachelor party and wedding, and if I'm lucky, the deep fat frying of a turkey. In the meantime there's a Motown-themed company "holiday" party, another column to file, and numerous loose ends to tie up. So you know what this means: Hiatus! It should be a big year for the Canard. In the meantime, I'll leave you with a view from the balcony where the Canard is often composed on during warmer times:  |
