Anyway, I walked at least 40 blocks this afternoon, from Union Station to RFK Stadium and back, scouting various monuments for upcoming DCist posts. My latest is on the "American Meridian" that once served as our prime meridian back before everyone threw their support to the Royal Greenwich Observatory. You can check it out here. This is an inordinately busy week for me, but in coming days I'll make time to post some other non-monument pictures from my epic Capitol Hill trek.
